According to Variety, Universal Studios will release Cinderella Man on December 6, which is expected to be preceded by a theatrical re-release.

Timing's nearly identical to that for the studio's Seabiscuit a couple years ago. Cinderella Man, priced at $29.98, will include three commentaries, six featurettes and deleted scenes. It will also be available as a two-disc gift set with more deleted scenes and featurettes.

Cinderella Man was released June 3rd, 2005 and stars Russell Crowe, Renée Zellweger, Paul Giamatti, Craig Bierko, Paddy Considine, Bruce McGill, David Huband, Connor Price. The film is directed by Ron Howard.
