Cillian Murphy has joined the cast of the upcoming biopic Dali & I: The Surreal Story. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Al Pacino will also be starring in this Room 9 Entertainment produced drama.

Andrew Niccol is directing the tale, which focuses on Dali's life from the '60s to the '80s. Most of his great work was behind him, and because of that, he became even more flamboyant in his lifestyle. Pacino will be playing Dali, who develops a mentor-protege relationship with the young artist Stan Lauryssens (Murphy).

Dali & I: The Surreal Story will begin shooting in the early months of 2008. Locations include New York and Spain.
