Director Christopher Nolan will slightly change Bane's voice in The Dark Knight Rises
Insiders claim that director Christopher Nolan plans to alter the sound mix for Bane's voice slightly, but doesn't plan to rework it completely. Here's what a studio executive had to say about the director's intention, regarding Bane's voice.
"Chris wants the audience to catch up and participate rather than push everything at them. He doesn't dumb things down. You've got to pedal faster to keep up."
When we spoke with Christopher Nolan after he unveiled the six-minute prologue, the director indicated audience members will likely not understand anything Bane says.
"Probably not. He has the mask on, the apparatus, and he has the accent. It's a tough one. He's incredibly hard to understand. Of course, the whole movie doesn't take place on a plane...This insures that you'll go back and see the movie a couple of times in the theater."
It seems that, for now, Bane will be an incomprehensible villain in The Dark Knight Rises, unless the studio, or the fans, are able to persuade Christopher Nolan to go in the other direction.
The Dark Knight Rises comes to theaters July 20th, 2012 and stars Liam Neeson, Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Aidan Gillen, Marion Cotillard. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

@sean It's okay, @narrator and @dan1 were only discussing past users on here and not you :)
@bawnian-dexeus I haven't seen much of him on here lately, either that, or he's toned down a bit.

Hey, if you've both got something to say to me that you're saying to each other on here about me, then just man up about it and tell me what it is!

The Narrator: The Better Man
@ghostman, haven't encountered Fury, so I'm not sure.
As for who Mrman is, or was... a pedophile, obsenely obnoxious, an extreme Nolan hater, among many other things. He tore up our threads quite a bit with comment overload, and subsequent comment deletes. Him and Newkill, and a few others who never lasted.

The Narrator: The Better Man
@bawnian-dexeus, @dan1, @ghostman, well... at least he's better than Mrman, and other douches who trolled. I've been gone a while, so I haven't noticed if everythings going normal on here... well, as "normal" as MW gets. :P

@dan1 @narrator about Capt. Obvious and his wacky comments, I often ignore them and go with his flow lol he doesn't bother me as much as he used to when I first came to MW.

Dan
@narrator Haha, no, it's not you. I think for the most part, we've learned to ignore his circular talk. He makes me cringe with his responses at times, but others notice his weirdness as well and call him on it, so I let it go (usually). I've learned to accept the fact that MW has it's share of kooks, and just roll with it :P

Hahaha... That Chris Nolan is a wily mf. Very well, I WILL fork over an extra 16 bucks to see it a second time and puzzle out what Bane is saying.

Random thought, @dan1. Is it me, or is it amazing how the dude below me always manages to talk in circles? I've actually tried, but no cigar. Not really trying to start anything, it just seems he has a talent is all.

Hopefully, the way Banes voice will sound in the Dark Knight Rises, when the Dark Knight Rises has been released to theaters, will fit well with the character "Bane".

What the......his voice is perfect for the villainous role of Bane. If they were to alter it...that would change the audiences perspective of him. Take Bales Batman voice in the Dark Knight. From Begins to the sequel, his voice perfectly represents who he is. Hes not a hero, hes not a villain, hes a man torn by confusion and a troubling childhood. He also represents the fear of Gotham City. Bane's voice indicates so much that by changing it, it would change so much about his character.

I understood every word he said in the prologue, AND his line in the trailer. These are probably the same people that said they couldn't understand what Christian Bale was saying in Batman Begins. stfu.

So I don't get it? The article contradicts the title? Keep it the way it is, like he said, the entire movie isn't on a plane.
