Christopher Nolan speaks out about his upcoming summer blockbuster
One of the most anticipated films of the summer season this year is easily Christopher Nolan's Inception, which hits theaters on July 16, and the director has finally spoken publicly about the film. The Los Angeles Times' Hero Complex Blog has posted an interview piece with Nolan where he states this movie could even take you into a fourth dimension.

"I grew up watching James Bond films and loving those and watching spy movies with their globetrotting sensibility.... We get to do that here, not just geographically but also in time and dimensions of reality as well. We get to make a movie that's expansive, I suppose you'd say, in four dimensions."

Nolan also admitted that this film represents the biggest challenge he's ever faced in his career.

"This is the biggest challenge I've taken on to this point," said Nolan, who may return to Gotham City for his next feature. "We're trying to tell a story on a massive scale, a true blockbuster scale - the biggest I've ever been involved with. We tried to make a very large-scale film with The Dark Knight and with this one we wanted to push that even further."

Christopher Nolan gave us 2 very very good films.... Memento and Insomnia... after that.... Batman Begins... the first Batman movie that was so dark and so good at the same time.... after that Nolan hit us with his "The Prestige", a work of art not just a watchable movie. "The Dark Knight" made him to be One of the Best if not the best Director of the last decade... I'm pretty sure Nolan won't fail with Inception and his 3rd Batman movie... all I wonder is.... What he gon do after that? ...

I first recognized the brilliant work of Nolan in "The Prestige". And surprised that they're the same guys in "The Dark Knight" which is also brilliant. And then now "Inception" (& still with Michael Caine). I think this has the concept of the "Matrix"? I saw the teaser and looked like in 3D. But I guess not. I'll sit for this.

Guys, its simply about a group of special agents type of people (not sure who they work for) led by Leo, who go INTO people minds and literally steal ideas, business plans etc. And one day there's a murder in one of the very minds they go into. Trippy? I kno

This looks really mind altering. I am sure a lot of people won't get it and that might not help their BO but it will still be a ride for the more educated. Can't wait.
