The independent drama Yonkers Joe has picked up a female lead. According to Variety, Christine Lahti will appear opposite Chazz Palminteri in the film.

The story revolves around a man, played by Palminteri, who must put his life on hold when he is made the sole caregiver of his Down syndrome-inflicted son. Lahti will play Palminteri's girlfriend.

Yonkers Joe is being directing by Robert Celestino. It is currently filming in Las Vegas.
