Christina Ricci joins Rob Pattinson for Bel Ami
The actress will take on the role of Clotilde. Bel Ami is slated to start going before the cameras next month.
The film is a chronicle of a young man's rise to power in Paris via his manipulation of the city's most influential and wealthy women. It is going to be directed by Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod.
It was written by Rachel Bennette.
Bel Ami comes to theaters in 2012 and stars Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci, Kristin Scott Thomas, Colm Meaney, Philip Glenister, Holly Grainger, James Lance. The film is directed by Declan Donnellan, Nick Ormerod.

maybe when she started losing her clothes for roles. she went from doing semi-credible indi work to trash. then her one major attempt at a blockbuster (Speed Racer) bombed (rightfully so) and even though she did okay in it, she went down with that sinking ship.
