Linda Carter is the best and only WW so far. Just not sure why they want to make a film? but I understand why. WW would fall flat since the modern day world has plenty of female heroes now.
@bawnian-dexeus My thought is that whoever wrote that is caught up in the moment of Avengers mania. Personally, Colbie Smulders is a much better choice to be WW than ScarJo, but she isn't as big a name. Whatever. As for as Whedon, he had WW, but WB didn't like the script. I honestly can't imagine him going back to that project unless he gets a lot more from WB.
SO! I just read that if a Wonder Woman ever need a female lead and a director, they said it should be Joss Whedon and ScarJo. It isn't anything official, but it is an interesting selection. Whedon has a reputation for strong female characters. I'm not to wild on the idea of ScarJo, but she could be another possible candidate. She's young enough and looks good enough with black hair...Thoughts?
@TheMightyThor Do you realize how hypocritical you are with some of your comments on comic book movies here? You'll leave a "Eat it, DC!" comment on the article with The Avengers poster, but then you have the balls to come over here and comment on how much you want to see a Wonder Woman movie not even a week later. Get a life.
This TV/movie's dogma will always be piss pore story lines, written by talentless writers that are unable to write good classifieds adds, force fed to use by VIP with no interest but for them self.
@jimthar if a movie is done correctly, yes, it will do VERY well! the problem with the television show was that apart from the name and maybe the costume, there really wasn't any semblance to the actual character.
@mka47 i do! she has a great background story! and that would make a spectacular movie!!
@ridgl hopefully they will see that a TV show will not work anymore and WW NEEDS a big screen movie. one that is true to the character. and hendricks is hot, but she can also act!! she was awesome on "Firefly" and is incredible on "Mad Men." just hope they do a movie that is epic in scope and not reduce her to some crime fighting business woman in the city like the show tried to do.
she's pretty and all but I can't believe that they'll do a movie IMMEDIATELY after the show tanked. Even if the movie is completely different, studios will think Wonder WOman=flop

@bawnian-dexeus @bawnian-dexeus @dan1 @ejk1 @thedude-abides @ghostman - They might as well cast Ryan Reynolds as WW at this point. WB seems to want to have him lead all their DC films lately :P

@dan1 Smulders looks like WW. WB should be all over this, but we both know they move terribly slow. Unless it's Batman, of course.

@bawnian-dexeus I just hope Refn doesn't do it.
@dan1 This would be the superhero role Gosling would play if Refn did direct it, lol!!

Got to admit, she'd make a fine Power Girl rather than WW
