According to Variety, Christina Hendricks (Mad Men) has joined the cast of Life as We Know It for Warner Bros. She will be co-starring with Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel.

The film will be directed by Greg Berlanti and produced by Barry Josephson. The script was written by Ian Deitchman and Kristin Rusk Robinson.

The story follows two unattached adults whose worlds are turned upside down when their mutual best friends die in an accident and name them as caregivers for their orphaned daughter.

Production on the film will begin this fall.

Life as We Know It was released October 8th, 2010 and stars Katherine Heigl, Josh Duhamel, Josh Lucas, Alexis Clagett, Brynn Clagett, Brooke Clagett, Hayes MacArthur, Christina Hendricks. The film is directed by Greg Berlanti.
