Well, I think it's going to be fun! Hey who knows the Russians might their version of Star Trek 27 or Spiderman 13? lol...lets just hope this movie is atleast funny....and yes...thank god Medea is no way to be seen or involve...btw Roguemiroku...not everyone in the cast is black...unless James Marsden got a seriously deep tan and the director is a white a kick ass playwright/stage director.

There's a lot more. Unless, you were only speaking of stuff that would appeal to guys who visit Best Buy on a weekly basis/work there and spend all their time ogling rare, international splatter-porn.

You have yet to "own" anything.

Me too. Had the first 45 minutes been like, way shorter si nce it's not till then that our susp*ciouns of the girl are realized then I wouldn't have minded it as much. But that totally iconic image of her by the phone with the rolling sack was my favorite part. The ending was genuinley surprising however, as I figured he'd end up in a bag too, and that she'd meet some other guy.

I just saw Audition, and I gotta say, I wish I hadn't. It totally ruined my expectations for what that film would be. I couldn't stand it. Not the violence and the vomit eating guy, but the pacing and gory scenes didn't account for anything scary. The best moments for me were when he went to see the guy at the abandoned building until the beginning of the torture scene, which once beginning, wasn't scary, just kinda like, whatever.

Okay, I'm gonna break a rule here and speak to an already Owned user. tell me one good foreign movie past 1999.

How is it obvious? I haven't made any statements of fact that are unfounded.

So, the quality of a foreign film can only ever be defined by its "edge"? That's exactly what you're implying. You're also implying that there hasn't been a good foreign film (which is a relative term really, I'm assuming you're speaking of non-American films) since 1999, which is hardly the case.

  12. Newkill3000

Obviously, you don't know what your talking about. After Audition, foreign movies have just lost there edge. Respect my opinion, bitch. OWNED!

I love the Original, crap like this irritates me Americanizing films is really starting to bore me, there are really good films being made in foreign countries that are better then the American remakes, they are lower budget but as Hollywood is proving Money aint everything because thwey are spending lots of money to make an inferior product.

Looks like it's going to actually be pretty good... but remaking a movie that came out nearly two years ago just is horrible. Some scenes are too identical.

I agree Raygun, It's much to early. buti would'nt call it a remake. Like Incredible Hulk, I didn't consider it a remake or a sequel. this move flls in that same category. It's a re-creation in a way
