Chris Pine Becomes Unstoppable

Director Tony Scott has found another unstoppable actor for his new film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chris Pine is in negotiations for a role in Unstoppable.

The Star Trek actor will star alongside Denzel Washington in the film, which centers on a veteran train engineer (Washington) who is about to be laid off, with a young engineer (Pine) set to replace him, when the two must try to stop an unmanned train carrying volatile chemicals before it reaches a nearby city.

Tony Scott is directing from a script by Mark Bomback. No production schedule was given for the film as of yet.

Unstoppable was released November 12th, 2010 and stars Denzel Washington, Chris Pine, Rosario Dawson, Ethan Suplee, Kevin Dunn, Kevin Corrigan, Kevin Chapman, Lew Temple. The film is directed by Tony Scott.

    you're right. The truth is... I have an obsession with Denzel on trains. I mean what's not to love? Denzel can do anything drama, comedy, shakespeare. And then there's trains! I mean INTERNAL combustion engines AND a mile to stop? I can't get enough.

    MMm, that's a dumb ass question. Vis's is better. Yeah, first he had Denzel in Crimson Tide, then Man on fire, then Deja Vu, Taking of Pelham and now this. I hear he's set to direct the Warriors remake. He'll probably get Denzel to play Cyrus.
