Chloe Moretz and Asa Butterfield Join The Invention of Hugo Cabret
Butterfield will play the title character while Moretz will play the female lead character of Isabelle. The site is also reporting that the film will be distributed by Sony Pictures, through producer Graham King's GK Films' deal with the studio.
The film is based off the children's book by Brian Selznick which tells the tale of Hugo Cabret, a young boy living within the walls of a Paris train station and gets caught up in an adventure when he tries to repair a mechanical man. John Logan adapted the book for the silver screen.
No production schedule was released for the film.
Hugo was released November 23rd, 2011 and stars Ben Kingsley, Sacha Baron Cohen, Asa Butterfield, Chloe Moretz, Ray Winstone, Emily Mortimer, Christopher Lee, Helen McCrory. The film is directed by Martin Scorsese.
