Apple's Quicktime website has the first trailer for director Alfonso Cuarón's sci-fi thriller Children of Men.

Universal Pictures will release the film on September 29.

In a near-future where mankind has lost the ability to procreate, the world is rocked by the news that the youngest person on earth -- who is 18 years old -- has died. As chaos erupts, a former radical (Clive Owen) is engaged to be the protector of the most sought after person on the planet -- the last remaining pregnant female. Julianne Moore also stars in this science fiction adventure, which is directed by Alfonso Cuarón.

Children of Men was released December 25th, 2006 and stars Juan Gabriel Yacuzzi, Mishal Husain, Rob Curling, Jon Chevalier, Rita Davies, Kim Fenton, Chris Gilbert, Phoebe Hawthorne. The film is directed by Alfonso Cuarón.
