The chicken may be little but that hasn't stopped Chicken Little from nabbing the No. 1 spot on the sales charts.

In an article from Home Media Retailing, Chicken Little took "the top spot on the national DVD sales chart for the week ended March 26, while New Line Home Entertainment's A History of Violence remained the nation's No. 1 rental for the second consecutive week."

Based on Neilsen Videoscan Data, Chicken Little "outsold second-ranked Dreamer: Inspired by a True Story, from Dreamworks Home Entertainment, by a nearly 4-to-1 margin."

The five other new releases that landed in the First Alert top 20 were Derailed at No. 4, Capote at No. 5, South Park - The Complete Seventh Season at No. 9, In the Mix at No. 10 and Mind of Mencia - Uncensored Season 1 at No. 19.
