USA Today recently chatted with producer David Zucker about his upcoming spoof Superhero Movie. They also posted a new pic from the film, which you can check out below.


Zucker stated, "It's predominantly Spider-Man, but we satirize everything. It's a spoof of the whole superhero genre, like we did with the Scary Movies, but this one probably has more of a unified plot, like The Naked Guns had."

The film will star Regina Hall, Tracy Morgan, and Leslie Nielsen. Christopher McDonald is playing the main villain. Zucker says, "He's dying of some rare disease, and he invents a machine where he can continue to live, as long as he kills a lot of people. The only one who can stop him is Dragonfly."

Superhero Movie swings into theaters on March 28th, 2008.
