Screen Gems has revealed the new trailer for horror/thriller Quarantine, which stars Jennifer Carpenter, Jay Hernandez, Columbus Short, Greg Germann, Steve Harris, Dania Ramirez, Rade Sherbedgia and Jonathon Schaech. Watch the trailer below!

Hitting theaters Oct. 10, Quarantine's story centers on a reporter and a cameraman, who are just two of the people trapped inside an apartment building after a deadly strain of rabies breaks out in the city of Los Angeles.

Carpenter plays TV reporter Angela Vidal who, with her cameraman (Harris), are assigned to spend the night shift with a Los Angeles Fire Station. After a routine 911 call takes them to a small apartment building, they find police officers already on the scene in response to blood curdling screams coming from one of the apartment units. They soon learn that a woman living in the building has been infected by something unknown. After a few of the residents are viciously attacked, they try to escape with the news crew in tow, only to find that the CDC has quarantined the building.

Quarantine was released October 10th, 2008 and stars Jennifer Carpenter, Steve Harris, Jay Hernandez, Johnathon Schaech, Columbus Short, Andrew Fiscella, Rade Serbedzija, Greg Germann. The film is directed by John Erick Dowdle.

I get that films are shot in the shakycam style to give it that doc*mentary look but I for one hate that shakycam bs when the entire film is shot that way. I didn't f'n pay to watch the floor or someones knee or get nausea.
