The first part in a trilogy series, Solomon Kane is an epic adventure adapted from the classic pulp stories by Robert E. Howard, creator of "Conan the Barbarian." Solomon Kane (James Purefoy) is a 16th Century soldier who learns that his brutal and cruel actions have damned him. Determined to redeem himself, Kane swears to live a life of peace and goodness but is forced to fight once more when a dark power threatens the land.
Solomon Kane hits theaters in 2009. It stars James Purefoy, Max von Sydow, Pete Postlethwaite, Rachel Hurd-Wood, Alice Krige and Mackenzie Crook.
It comes to theatrs in 2009 from Davis Films.
Solomon Kane was released in 2010 and stars James Babson, Laura Baranik, Geoff Bell, Matthew Blood-Smyth, Brian Caspe, John Comer, Mackenzie Crook, Christian Dunckley Clark. The film is directed by Michael J. Bassett.

ok after watching the trailer i admit it has me interested but, The Van Helsing outfit is obvious, And with the f*ck up looking guys and the fire thing at the end reminded me of The Lord Of The Rings, and the shots of sword playing reminded me of Zorro, i don't know whether to be intrigue now or worried it will be a disappointment.
