Check Out The First Official Trailer for Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li

Twentieth Century Fox has released the first US trailer for Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li, roughly one week after releasing a trailer in Japan. The trailer comes to us courtesy of IGN, and features Kristin Keuek in the title role of the film.

Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li is a live-action feature film based on Capcom's video game. The new film is focused on female fighter Chun Li and her journey for justice.

Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li will be released on February 27, 2009.

Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li was released February 27th, 2009 and stars Kristin Kreuk, Chris Klein, Neal McDonough, Robin Shou, Moon Bloodgood, Josie Ho, Taboo, Michael Clarke Duncan. The film is directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak.

    it'll b a let down to those who kno the series and trhe game and what not, hell i stopped payin attention after SF2 turbo bak on genises, so yeah movie wise it aint impressive, nothin really reminds me of the game, i dont think it'll be a big flob like say DOA but it wont be nothing great, but it might provide that chance for some else worth while to pick it up and do it better,

    oh yeah my pick for ken and ryu mat and jeff hardy from wrestling LOL JK......... hey i said JK dont yell at me that loud

    Meh this look awful, my opinion still stands with this film.
    This needs Ryu & Ken without them 2 its a major box office flop.

    They seriously need to start recognising its the fans that they make this movies for, not the profits.
    Vega looks cool but Taboo has no acting record.

    Oh man this film could have been so sweet with Tony Jaa as Ryu

    Who would be Akuma or Ken, if anyone here could make a picky.

    Andrzej Bartkowiak is only a small step above Uwe boll. Someone tell him he made a movie that looks like it belongs in the 80's. the action is abysmal I mean who likes slow motion martial arts effects anymore? The Wachowski's BARELY got away with it. Not to mention that Kirsten Kruek has the screen presence of mortar drying, You guys really think she has anything in her that she hasn't already shown when butchering Smallville? Her ONLY great performance was when she was groped by Matt Damon in Euro Trip's scotty doesn't know sing a long. I hope this tanks and it tanks HARD, it's freakin 2009 already you would think with the THOUSANDS of films out now people who MAKE movies would get it RIGHT already!!!!!!

    Well the Fox will learn their lesson yet again when this tanks. You can't take away the biggest names in Street Fighter and think it will do well. You need to have AT LEAST Ken & Ryu as the main characters. I know every person who has played SF would see it if that were the case. Not this weird version of SF. Even though Vega is cool in the games, he looks retarded in this movie. He looks like a Power Rangers villian lol.

    This will be a total failure. Why does Hollywood insist on making such dribble. Sounds like someone needs to be standing by when someone comes up with a bad idea like this and say, "Halt...this will suck balls." Should be straight to video IMHO.
