I have to admit, I do like these Saw series. I mostly grew up with the Halloween, Friday the 13th, Child's Play, and Nightmare on Elm Street series myself. But having a new type of horror for this generation is great. It will never top the original slasher films but its good for the new kids. As for Saw 5 now coming out. Saw 1 was probably the best. 2 - 4, kinda killed the whole vibe for me. They were good if you wanted a little jump but nothing special. As for them making now a Saw 6, its not a complete waste of time, but they at least have to find an ACTUAL story, not jump back to part 3 and take something they happen while part 5 is going on, people get to confused with that bulls***.

isn't there supposed to be a sixth movie?...and I've never been able to figure out how it all fits together, too many jumps between past, present, and future. Anyone have a site link that explains it all up until now?

reminds me of something you'd find in a Tool cd booklet. Agreed... time to put Saw behind and give us a fresh new horror series.

Unless Saw VI will be a sequel or side-B to this one, I think VI should be a prequel to 2-5 and a sequel to the original. Cary Elwes should reprise his roll too and explain a big mystery to those of us that still care: Whatever happened to Lawrence and his family?

No there is still one more to go.

Cool. I know many of you guys think this will be sh*t, but I disagree. I thought the 4th was not too good, yes, but I liked 3, and the first 2. I also think that the poster is cool, but could have some more detail

whoa...love&napalm lol...getting kinda carried away. That's kinda harsh to compare complete waste of film to the Saw franchise. I wasn't a fan of 2 & 3, I mainly liked the original and the 4th cause the 4th was explaining Jigsaw's character finally. Pretty original franchise though if you ask me. I mean they did most likely get the "idea" from Seven, as in the whole morals/sins type of theme, but other than that, it's pretty interesting. I will be at the theater for this movie.
