Variety reports that Chazz Palminteri is going to write and co-produce the independent film Wall Street Mafia for Fiore Films.

Depending on his schedule, Palminteri may also co-star in the movie.

Wall Street Mafia sheds light on the true story of the FBI's investigation into the Mafia's "involvement in Wall Street and the world of finance during the mid-1990s." The story will look at a young executive who goes from Brooklyn to Wall Street and soon finds himself stuck between the mafia and the FBI.

The movie will start shooting in New York in February.
