Babel writer Guillermo Arriaga has just nabbed a super sexy actress for his feature film directorial debut. According to Variety, Charlize Theron will be starring in his The Burning Plain.

The film consists of thematically connected storylines. Arriaga stated, "There are very intense love stories here that take place in different places and times, with characters trying to find the healing powers of love, forgiveness and redemption."

The film cost so little money, that there is no timetable for a completion date.
