Charlie Hunnam is in talks to star in Guillermo del Toro's Crimson Peak
Story details are being kept under wraps for the time being, although it is believed to be a paranormal thriller. If a deal is finalized, Charlie Hunnam will reunited with his Pacific Rim director Guillermo del Toro.
Guillermo del Toro is rewriting the screenplay with Lucinda Coxon, working from an original draft by Matthew Robbins. Legendary Pictures will produce and finance the movie, with Universal Pictures retaining an option to provide financing at a later date.
Production is scheduled to begin in February 2014. Charlie Hunnam was last seen on the big screen in Deadfall, with Pacific Rim debuting in theaters this summer.
Crimson Peak comes to theaters in 2015 and stars Emma Stone, Charlie Hunnam, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jessica Chastain. The film is directed by Guillermo del Toro.
