HBO has just signed an exclusive contract with Charles S. Dutton. According to Variety, the actor will develop a new series for the cable channel. He will also star in and direct the series as well.

Dutton stated, "I look forward to developing other projects that will have the same stamp of excellence as our previous collaborations." This was in reference to his previous work with the channel. He had no comment as to what this new series might entail.

Dutton's show will most likely be ready for air later next year.
