Charles Gibson to Direct The Goblin
According to Variety, Matt Berenson will produce with Wind Dancer Film principal Matt Williams and production head Judd Payne.
The story revolves around a suburban family that moves into its new home only to find a curmudgeonly goblin who doesn't want them there.
"It's about creating a goblin that will appeal to audiences of all ages," Williams said.
Gibson won visual-effects Oscars for Babe and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. He performed visual effects and second unit directing on the "Pirates" franchise and Terminator Salvation.
