Channing Tatum has signed on to star in an untitled action film for New Line Cinema; T. J. Scott and Kevin Lund wrote the spec script.

He'll play an undercover New York cop, who must infiltrate the underground world of free running, known as Parkour, to bust a seemingly unstoppable gang of bank robbers, says Variety.

A fast production start is scheduled for the film.
