Channing Tatum charged up for the new sci-fi film Ion
Will Dunn wrote the spec script, which was said to be a, "sci-fi romantic epic." The story revolves around a man who travels throughout the different Earth's in the universe to try and find his lover who was reincarnated. Tony Scott and Ridley Scott are on board as producers.
The script is being compared to Avatar in terms of its scope and other fantasy elements. Dunn's script actually made the rounds last year and didn't find a home but, now, in today's post-Avatar climate, the project has sparked the interest of several studios.

Great news - I love both sf epics and Channing Tatum. Can't wait to see him in historical epic "The Eagle of the Ninth".

you'd think that if the scott brothers were producing this they would have cast a better actor for the lead. tatum cant act his way out of a wet paper bag.
