CBS orders Carrol Mendelsohn's Widow Detective
CBS orders Carrol Mendelsohn's Widow Detective
CBS has picked up new drama pilot titled Widow Detective. The drama is written by David Hubbard with CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's Carol Mendelsohn producing.

The drama will follow a decorated police detective who becomes a surrogate husband, lover and father to the families of three partners lost in the line of duty.

This project will mark CBS' fifth drama order this season, with Carol Mendelsohn's company also working on a The Rifleman remake.

This project is still in development.
