Catherine Zeta-Jones is about to be a single mother. According to Variety, the actress has signed on to topline an untitled project from Bart Freundlich, who will write and direct.

The film revolves around a 25-year-old New York City man who meets his new, single-mother neighbor (Zeta-Jones) and she piques his attention.

Filming is set to start on April 17, and Film Department International, the film's production company, has plans to open the film at next year's Cannes Film Festival.
