Cate Blanchett has signed on to star in the Fourth Installment of the Indiana Jones Adventures for Paramount Pictures.

Harrison Ford is back as the lead, and Steven Spielberg will direct the David Koepp screenplay. The Hollywood Reporter had no details on the plot; it is unclear what character Blanchett will play.

Shooting the Fourth Installment of the Indiana Jones Adventures will begin in June in Los Angeles.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was released May 22nd, 2008 and stars Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett, Karen Allen, Shia LaBeouf, Ray Winstone, John Hurt, Jim Broadbent, Igor Jijikine. The film is directed by Steven Spielberg.
