"I think Cate Blanchett is set to take the Maid Marian part," said Strong, who is expected to play Sir Guy of Gisbourne. "She is a wonderful actress and it would make it a much classier film if she was in it."
Russell Crowe stars as the Sheriff of Nottingham in the film, written by Brian Helgeland and expected to release November 6th, 2010.
Robin Hood was released May 14th, 2010 and stars Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Max von Sydow, William Hurt, Mark Strong, Oscar Isaac, Danny Huston, Eileen Atkins. The film is directed by Ridley Scott.

ZZ - i thought i had read that Russell Crowe was Robin Hood, not the sheriff. And I disagree about the beauty comment - Cate is quite stunning and a far better actress than Sienna. She also brings a lot less drama to the set which means it could speed up production. Much better cast!!!
