Castlevania Film Not Moving Forward
Paul W.S. Anderson and Ian Jeffers were writing the adaptation that originally had Sylvain White attached to direct. The site reported that the project had currently been out to other directors and has now apparently slipped into "development hell."
We'll be sure to keep you posted on any new developments if this Castlevania film is resurrected.
Castlevania was released in 2009. The film is directed by James Wan.

I think you read it too fast Leo, I was stating how people are saying "boo hum bug" to Castlevania, which could be f*cking awesome, at least visually.

Hell No.
A great game that has grand potential being adapted to film, and its scrapped, makes no sense....
I concur with Chad....
Although i have faith in Monopoly but it will only work if its a comedy with a few serious elements

I don't see your point, Chad Vital. It seems most of the people here are rather upset about this news.

I swear people on this site do not make sense half the time. How is Castlevania a bad idea? It has SO much potential. It sucks that it's not being fast tracked. I don't get it, this has problems but they green light Monopoly and Battleship? Are you f*cking kidding me? Am I in the twilight zone or something lol?

Playhouse
Good. Now people with some real talent can latch onto this and make a hell of a film.

Typical. One of the few computer games that would have really made an interesting film, and it gets scrapped.

Well they probably will just go on to do another remake of a film that should not be remade.
