Julia Ormond (Inland Empire) has joined the cast of Paramount's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, directed by David Fincher, according to Variety. She'll play the daughter to whom Cate Blanchett's character tells the story of her love affair with Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt).

The film centers on a man who, at age 50, begins aging backward and the complications that ensue when he falls in love with a woman of 30.

Shawn Roberts (Man of the Year) has been cast as one of the leads in George A. Romero's Diary of the Dead. The project is currently filming in Toronto.

Roberts recently completed Doug Liman's Jumper for 20th Century Fox. He'll next be seen in Lionsgate's Skinwalkers.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was released December 25th, 2008 and stars Cate Blanchett, Julia Ormond, Faune A. Chambers, Elias Koteas, Donna DuPlantier, Jacob Tolano, Earl Maddox, Ed Metzger. The film is directed by David Fincher.
