Cast Added to Sam Raimi's Wizard's First Rule
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the scripted series will be an hourlong weekly from Disney-ABC Domestic Television and ABC Studios, and is based on Terry Goodkind's book "Wizard's First Rule" and epic fantasy series "The Sword of Truth."
Horner will star as woodsman Richard Cypher, who transforms into a magical leader and joins with a mysterious woman named Kahlan (Regan) to stop a bloodthirsty, sinister tyrant.
Production on the 22 episodes begins this month in New Zealand.

I ahted these books, from the beginning of Wizards first rule I saw how goodkind riped off everything from star wars to LOTR. The old man is obi wan, the main character luke, the evil wizrd the main guy's father is vader. The damn sword is the one ring, the old truth seeker or whatever gollum, hell he even yells, 'its mine!' this book was total bullsh*t! Ive boycotted Terry Goodkind for years and will continue to do so! Write soemthing orignal you idea stealing troll of a writer!
