Cars Drives To the Top Of the DVD Charts
In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, the popular animated film took the top position on the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales chart, and placed a strong second on Home Media Retailing's video rental chart.
Little Man was number two in sales but that's probably because no other studio released much with Cars making it's debut.
The number one rental was Mission: Impossible 3. Also, bouyed by the current theatrical release of The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, the original Santa Clause made a return to the sales ranks at number 7.

Cars was released June 9th, 2006 and stars Owen Wilson, Paul Newman, Bonnie Hunt, Larry The Cable Guy, Cheech Marin, Tony Shalhoub, Guido Quaroni, Jenifer Lewis. The film is directed by John Lasseter, Joe Ranft.
