@skywise - good man. That's how I screen what I'm interested in seeing.
But what is this kicking doors in business? You with the SWAT?

@diaigma Well the more accurate truth is that i will wait until the movie comes out. Check back here for reviews. Check in with people i know and trust who saw it and then decide a course. I love my movies as we all do but they are just that...movies. Now kicking in doors for a living, thats a dangerous game.

@skywise - box office success means diddly squat to me. Apparently, it means diddly squat to Lassiter too (notice he's pushing product in this "promotion" video). Good story or bust. They're going out of their way to promote this thing more than any of their previous titles because the backlash spreads far wider than just here. For the first time ever, the reception of a Pixar title is not being fully embraced by everyone. In fact, people are coming out and saying that they won't watch it.
I know I won't. Neither will my kid, or those who trust my opinion on animation.

I'm curious. You think this is a bad idea, BUT you're interested in what happens? I played both sides of the fence with Airbender. Dangerous game, my friend :P

@diaigma really? You know these kids are gonna wanna see it and parents will be looking for something to take the children to. It might crash and burn as far as reviews go but i bet it still makes a ton of money paving the way for a 3rd installment.

I want to be clear here...i think this is a terrible idea. As i said this is my least fav Pixar movie but that doesnt mean it wont bank. I am interested to see just what happens with this franchise.

@daveactor7 i absolutly adore pixar but this just seems like a bad idea. But to be fair Cars was my least favorite of the Pixar movies.

It does seem like they are really trying to get some good press for this. I think they are feeling the backlash from fans. Maybe we are all wrong and it will be fantastic.

Enough with Cars 2. All this promotion for a movie that is obviously going to suck.
