Judy Greer joins the Carrie remake as a high school gym teacher
Chloe Moretz stars as the title character, a tormented high school girl who uses her new telekinetic abilities to get revenge on those students who bullied her. Judy Greer will play the high school gym teacher, and Ivana Baquero is portraying the "sexy bad girl" Chris. No details were given for Gabriella Wilde's character. Julianne Moore, Alex Russell, and Ansel Elgort also star in the remake.
Kimberly Peirce is directing from a screenplay by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. No production schedule was given.
Carrie comes to theaters October 18th, 2013 and stars Chloe Moretz, Julianne Moore, Judy Greer, Gabriella Wilde, Michelle Nolden, Portia Doubleday, Alex Russell, Samantha Weinstein. The film is directed by Kimberly Peirce.

The novel was great. The movie was pretty good. Sequel sucked. Remake sucked more. Let's hope this one hits well. I like the casting of Chloe Moretz as Carrie.

Was never a fan of the original novel. The original movie went over my head and the silly sequelish remake The Rage: Carrie 2 was horrid. Leave this one alone..
