Carlos Mencia (Mind of Mencia) has signed onto the untitled Farrelly brothers project, joining Ben Stiller, Michelle Monaghan and Malin Akerman, according to Production Weekly.

In the script by the Farrelly Bros. and Kevin Barnett, Stiller plays Eddie Cantrow, who has trouble committing to any long term relationship. Despite his affliction, Eddie decides to get married and hopefully learn to settle down. While in Mexico on his honeymoon with his new wife Lila (Akerman), Eddie makes the mistake of finding his soulmate, Miranda played by Monaghan.

Mencia will play a sadistic hotel manager in the film, previously named Seven-Day Itch.

Principal photography begins next week filming in locations around Los Angeles, San Francisco and Cabo San Lucas.
