Carice van Houten (Black Book) has joined the cast of Boris Damast's Vivaldi, alongside Joseph Fiennes and Gerard Depardieu, according to Variety.

Financed by Future Films, and produced by Hand Picked Films and Mechaniks, the biopic of the 18th century Venetian composer will shoot later this year.

The cast also includes Jacqueline Bisset, Lena Headey, Malcolm McDowell and Elle Fanning.

Vivaldi was released in 2011 and stars Jessica Biel, Luke Evans, Joseph Fiennes, Alfred Molina, Elle Fanning, Malcolm McDowell, Neve Campbell, Gérard Depardieu. The film is directed by Boris Damast.
