Carey Mulligan joins Inside Llewyn Davis and the Untitled Spike Jonze Project
Actress Carey Mulligan, fresh off the critically-acclaimed Drive, has lined up starring roles with Inside Llewyn Davis and the Untitled Spike Jonze Project.

Joel Coen and Ethan Coen are writing and directing Inside Llewyn Davis, which stars Oscar Isaac. The story is based on the life of folk musician Dave van Ronk, and centers on a folk artist struggling to make it in the 1960s music scene. It isn't known what role Carey Mulligan, or if she will be required to sing.

Charlie Kaufman is writing the Untitled Spike Jonze Project for Spike Jonze to direct. The story centers on a group of world leaders who meet to shape the face of global events. Joaquin Phoenix will also star, although nothing is known about the characters Joaquin Phoenix or Carey Mulligan will play.

It is said that Carey Mulligan will start shooting on Inside Llewyn Davis in February, and then jump to the Untitled Spike Jonze Project sometime next spring.

Inside Llewyn Davis comes to theaters December 6th, 2013 and stars Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake, John Goodman, Jeanine Serralles, Garrett Hedlund, F. Murray Abraham. The film is directed by Joel Coen, Ethan Coen.

Untitled Spike Jonze Project comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara, Amy Adams, Samantha Morton. The film is directed by Spike Jonze.
