Carey Mulligan Cast in Money Never Sleeps?

It seems that a new sequel might have its first important female cast member. According to Latino Review, Carey Mulligan (Pride & Prejudice)has been cast in Money Never Sleeps, Oliver Stone's newly-titled sequel to Wall Street.

Mulligan is said to play the daughter of Michael Douglas' Gordon Gecko character, who hasn't spoken to her father in the 11 years he was away in prison. Now she's engaged to Shia LaBeouf's character and she also blames her father for her brother's suicide.

The studio hasn't confirmed this casting as of yet, but we'll be sure to update you on any news regarding this new cast member or any other news on Money Never Sleeps as soon as we have more information.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps was released September 24th, 2010 and stars Michael Douglas, Shia LaBeouf, Josh Brolin, Carey Mulligan, Eli Wallach, Susan Sarandon, Frank Langella, Austin Pendleton. The film is directed by Oliver Stone.
