Emilia Clarke is in the running for Captain America: Winter Soldier
In the top running are Emilia Clarke, who of course is connected to directors Joe Russo and Anthony Russo through their work together on Game of Thrones, and Jessica Brown Findlay, best known for her work on Downton Abbey.
Also in the game and ready to test opposite Chris Evans are actors Imogen Poots (Fright Night) and Alison Brie (Community).
The character has not been announced, but the role will be a modern day love interest for Steve Rogers. It is also being reported that Scarlett Johansson will be making a cameo as Black Widow.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier comes to theaters April 4th, 2014 and stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Robert Redford, Frank Grillo. The film is directed by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo.
