Anthony Mackie is in talks to play Falcon in Captain America: The Winter Soldier
The character was first introduced in 1969, and is one of the first African-American superheroes. Marvel's Black Panther debuted before Falcon, although he hailed from the fictional African country of Wakanda. His power comes from a suit that gives him super strength and allows him to fly, along with the telepathic ability to communicate with birds. The new title also hints that Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes will be brought back to life as The Winter Soldier.
Joe Russo and Anthony Russo are directing the sequel, from a screenplay by Captain America: The First Avenger writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Shooting will commence after production wraps on Thor: The Dark World later this year.
Anthony Mackie can currently be seen in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. He also stars in Gangster Squad and Pain and Gain.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier comes to theaters April 4th, 2014 and stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Robert Redford, Frank Grillo. The film is directed by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo.

@Nathaniel-Strangman If there will really be a raccoon in a Guardians of the Galaxy movie(which i doubt it), then it would be in the movie as a cgi created one most likely. But still, i highly doubt that there will be one in the movie.

I cant wait for cap 2 with bucky, falcon, Thor 2, ant man, finally. Looking forward to all of those EXCEPT guardians. Like how the heck are they gonna fit in? How many people actually know what "guardians of the galaxy" is. How is a anthromorpic raccoon gonna fit in with Tony stark? He'll be like look at the cute raccoon! I dunno.

lol this is gonna be so cheesetastic if they are doing this they should put hank pym in ironman 3 and introduce him that way then he can be in avengers2 and after that they could make the antman movie where he fights some villain and then ends with ultron being built leaving avengers 3 open :D

Joe & Anthony Russo as directors doesn't instill huge confidence. These guys have pretty much done nothing but television comedies with the exception of Welcome to Collinwood, which is also a largely comedic film and mediocre at best. I am having deja vu feelings of dread just like the day Avi Arad announced Tim Story as director of the Fantastic Four.

Please do it! I really hope the Phase 2 of The MCU is good. I am just a little worried. I guess i just have to wait until Iron Man 3 to see how they are starting Part 2 OF the MCU.
