Captain America: The First Avenger Trailer Sneak Peek from ET

Tonight's episode of Entertainment Tonight featured sneak peek at Captain America: The First Avenger, which hits theaters nationwide on July 22. Click on the video player below for this new footage, along with an additional six-second clip as well.




Captain America: The First Avenger was released July 22nd, 2011 and stars Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, Sebastian Stan, Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving, Dominic Cooper, Richard Armitage, Stanley Tucci. The film is directed by Joe Johnston.

    @penguin-9026 Yes, conventionally, he isn't the best director but he's shown that he can make a very good period piece, The Rocketeer is a great example of that. And as far as The Wolfman goes, he can't be blamed for a script that was already written, and scenes that had already been filmed before he got there. He was the equivalent of Richard Lester with Superman 2 without the pleasure of complete rewrites and reshoots and scene deletions.

    With the Wolfman, he worked with what he had, and the movie itself was good but, It just had pacing problems. the movie felt rushed throughout and should have been longer that a hour and 45 minutes, give a few minutes.

    Even in the Captain America costume Chris Evans looks like a scrawny bitch. I dont see this movie doing very well. Its just gonna end up very comedic and poorly directed. Johnston is just a horrible director period. He can Wolfman wasnt his fault but it was. How do you mess up a remake of a simple horror story? His f*cking directing and editing skills are beyond laughable.

    You are kidding right? These are the most ridiculous things I have ever seen. I don't even call these trailers. One was only about 30 seconds, the other about - what 5 seconds. Does Marvel even have enough footage to show us a decent trailer? I am actually getting tired of all the stupid hype and excitement surrounding this film. My excitement stopped about a month ago, because 'clearly' Thor is the better film out of the two. So, I doubt I will be seeing this. Marvel has spent much more time advertising Thor and it didn't need reshoots at the last minute. I have faith in Branaugh and Hemsworth - very little in Johnston and Evans. Being a Marvel fan - I am truly disappointed in them.

    Looks great! The director Joe Johnston has said this movie is going to be the best movie he has ever made. He has the experience to do it and he explained what happened with the wolfman sucking so I have faith.
