The full costume was spotted on a stunt double for Chris Evans riding a US Army Indian motorcycle through the English countryside for a motorbike sequence involving a chase between Steve Rogers and agents of H.Y.D.R.A.
True to the original character, the costume comprised the colours of the American flag, complete with a huge star on the chest, helmet and cape.
Captain America: The First Avenger was released July 22nd, 2011 and stars Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, Sebastian Stan, Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving, Dominic Cooper, Richard Armitage, Stanley Tucci. The film is directed by Joe Johnston.

This actually kinda makes me more excited to see the actual costume on Chris Evans, so we can get an accurate portayal of how the costume will look in the movie. Silly stunt double, you are not Captain America!

Fat-a$$ stunt double has got a boner from the lady trying to put the jacket on him. check it out in the third to the last picture. Damn this is some lame sh*t. Do those parts in CGI would be better than that FAT Captain America. Sorry guys, The Mime is just speaking his mind here.

I'm not exactly thrilled with the costume, but then again fashion won't factor into my judgment of this film, or Thor for that matter. I will wait to see the final products next summer to make my judgments, and forecast the outlook of The Avengers.

What's the point in releasing such bad photos like this? Wait to release the good stuff, like Evans in the suit!
I hope this movie isn't cheesy, because these photos make it out to be Indiana Jones meets Marvel. Of course, it's only a few pics of a stunt double in one scene, but still...they're terrible lol

Well, at least we'll get a motorcycle chase in the film. As I did with Thor, I'll hold judgement till a trailer... unfortunately when Thor's trailer came out, my expectations hit rock bottom for the film. They have partially recovered since then, but still I hope it's not the same case with Captain America.
