Damn you people.! What makes them so weak to saying "NO" to the F*CKIN' 3D sh!t? To me, now it's not about weather they should cook it up on 3D or stick to simple classic 2D, so long as they make to movie OFF-THE-F*CKIN'-CHAIN. But hey, try to develope the guts to say no to that 3D Sh*t. Don't give in to it that much man because people just might, if they're not already are, get sick of it.
Make The movie cool.

Yeh totally agree, 3d is over-rated, just give me a digitally enhanced IMAX movie and Im good. 3d distracts more than anything else

I kind of like the fact that these Marvel universe films have been traditional 2D. I hope they don't make this decision. It would be an awkward transition.

Enough of this 3D stuff. Im tired of wearing glasses at the theaters for half ass technology. If your going to do it do it right! Even then I still hate wearing glasses at the movies. I already wear my prescription glasses as it is now I have to wear the 3D ones too! DAMN! Soon i will look like Im wearing night vision goggles in the theater.

I don't mind 3D for animation, but live action shouldn't have it. Unless every film that we know of goes into CGI animation 3D but still that is wrong as well.
There are 3D TVs now, think of all the people that watch TV today, I bet most of them would stop watching TV all together once they find out that the old TV format won't be selling any more.

Diaigma
For that to happen, people have to stop going to 3D.
So far, that's not happening. :P

As long as they are shot in 3D and not held back then i still have hopes for these movies
Its when movies are already then converted to 3D then having to postpone the movie that i start to worry

3D ruins the very concept of Captain America as a man stuck in the past. F*ck that.
If the Avengers is shot in 3D, then go ahead.

I personally like 3D movies but only when they are actually shot in 3D and not converted to 3D after the movie is finished filming. The only way to make sure this 3D craze ends is to stop seeing 3D movies all together. That will make these movies companies to drop the 3D idea. Until that time and as long as these companies make big money with 3D it will not end so we should just get use to it.

3-D is the best in computer animated movies like toy story....but for live action, is not that good

NOOOO! I was sitting in the theater before Iron Man 2 and my friend told me "crazy how this isn't in 3D" and I realized non of the Marvel films have been in 3D and it made me pretty happy. This is bullsh*t.
Every movie is in 3D now, I was walking out after the movie and they had a huge ad for Step Up 3D in the lobby, as if that movie needed anymore help to suck.

Badlywritten
Not looking forward to this in 3D. Even the action scenes in Avatar 3D were blurry, and I can't imagine it would be any better for a superhero film (especially if Iron Man is rocketing around in one of his awesome flight scenes).

I think Tyranus hit the nail on the head. Furthermore, If someone did not see this coming because Iron Man 2 "disappointed at 130 million opening" then you deserve to watch everything in 3d. What a sad day this is. Personally I hope that both films are going to be available in normal 2d.
