Of course, the executive didn't reveal what this tie-in between both movies is, but Joss Whedon revealed last month that the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier affect what happen in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The studio is releasing Guardians of the Galaxy in August, though it isn't known if that will also have a direct link to Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The CEO also confirmed that the Captain America: The Winter Soldier story line will spill over to ABC's Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., although no plot specifics were given for the future crossover episode. The ABC series previously expanded the story from last year's Thor: The Dark World in "The Well", which aired just two weeks after the movie debuted in theaters. While we'll have to wait on confirmation of when this Captain America: The Winter Soldier crossover will air, don't be surprised if it happens in mid-April, just after the movie debuts in theaters.
