Cameron Diaz and Jim Carrey Exit Production On A Little Game Without Consequence
The pair, along with director Gabriele Muccino, was to have started production this month in New York. The Hollywood Reporter says there were problems with the script as the principal reason for the departures; it was to have gone in a different direction than the actors expected when they became involved.
Allan Loeb wrote the original screenplay for A Little Game Without Consequence, which was based on a play by Jean Dell and Gerald Sibleyras; Muccino wrote the most recent draft.
