Cam Gigandet Board The Roommate
According to Variety, the story centers on a deranged college freshman who becomes obsessed with her new roommate. Gigandet will play the boyfriend of Meester's character.
Christian E. Christiansen is directing from a Sonny Mallhi screenplay.
Screen Gems will start production in May.
The Roommate was released February 1st, 2011 and stars Leighton Meester, Cam Gigandet, Matt Lanter, Billy Zane, Minka Kelly, Danneel Harris, Katerina Graham, Alyson Michalka. The film is directed by Christian E. Christiansen.
