Callum Blue Joins the Smallville Cast

Clark Kent's hometown is about to get another super-villain resident next season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Callum Blue has signed on to portray General Zod in the upcoming season of Smallville.

Zod was an arch-villain of the Man of Steel in the comic books and was portrayed by Terrence Stamp in the film Superman II.

Blue was recently seen in roles on The Tudors, Secret Diary of a Call Girl and Related.

    you're correct Kylenin. Terrence Stamp is British. he's got a fantasticly distinctive English "upper-class" accent and is one of our better actors. he does the voice for jor-el in smallville.

    I believe it was British Kyle im not 100 percent on that, yeah the sound of accent adds some superiority to it, just have to wait and see i guess how it works out, So, so far we have Zod and Metallo this season wonder who else is gonna pop up?

    Well just hope he can hide that British accent well. I know somehow thier accent makes them sounds more superior but i dont think it would work, He has the look personally though i would have rather seen Sam back for this role just modified his face alittle with make up, His in depth ability to show what he was battleing internally was brilliant, shame he is not coming back for the 9th
