Cabin Fever: Patient Zero moves forward with director Kaare Andrews
Cabin Fever: Patient Zero will be directed by comic book artist-turned-director Kaare Andrews, best known for his creepy 2010 horror outing Altitude. While that film took place in the sky on an airplane, this latest entry in the Cabin Fever franchise will take place on a boat, as a crew struggles to avoid being consumed by the infamous flesh eating virus after they crash into a desolate island research facility.
Jake Wade Wall, who was responsible for writing the moderately received The Hitcher remake, is on board as screenwriter. He is setting Cabin Fever: Patient Zero up to segue into a fourth sequel entitled Cabin Fever: Outbreak.
Cabin Fever: Outbreak will be written by Debra Sullivan and Adam Marcus. It follows a doctor on a Caribbean island that tries to contain the virus in the aftermath following Cabin Fever: Patient Zero. It is not known if Kaare Andrews will direct both films.
Cabin Fever: Patient Zero comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Sean Astin, Brando Eaton, Ben Hollingsworth. The film is directed by Kaare Andrews.
Cabin Fever: Outbreak comes to theaters in 2014.

Oh christ no. First was decent... Sequel was Horrible... I wanna say I'll give it a try but it's going to be extremely hard if at all possible after seeing the garbage that was "Spring Fever".
