Heather Morris is being considered for Buffy the Vampire Slayer after all
"They're considering me! I found out and I almost peed my pants 'cause I was so excited!"
Screenwriter Whit Anderson responded via her Twitter account with this remark last week:
"We're not even *thinking* about casting yet. The script isn't even written!"
However, that tweet was quickly deleted from her account, adding further speculation about what is really going on. Apparently the woman didn't realize that Dolly Parton really does own half of Sandollar Productions, which reverted the franchise rights back to Warner Bros. to make this reboot possible (that bit of information was confirmed in the original PR that was sent out announcing the project weeks ago).
Heather Morris did add that she would love to play any part in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie, even if it isn't Buffy herself:
"If they make [Buffy] when [Glee] is on hiatus, I don't even care what I do. I can just run through the shot and do nothing - even if I'm not Buffy!"
We'll be sure to keep you posted with any further details on this Buffy the Vampire Slayer casting saga as soon as we have more information.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer is in development .
